Tibu Africa, one of the Orange Corners Morocco implementing partners, has underscored the transformative power of sport in fostering sustainable development and social inclusion during several high-level events at the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
Mohamed Amine Zariat, president of Tibu Africa, participated as a speaker in the “United by Sport” Forum, showcasing Morocco’s innovative model that leverages sport to drive social, educational and economic progress, especially for youth and women. He highlighted the vital contributions of both government and private sector actors in supporting these initiatives, which align with Tibu Africa’s ambitious goal of leading sports for development in Africa by 2030.
Mohamed Amine Zariat also took part in the “Sport as a Game Changer” conference at UNESCO, which brought together governments, sports organisations, athletes and various other stakeholders to discuss the power of sport as a driver of sustainable development. During both events, Mohamed Amine Zariat effectively demonstrated the significant impact of sport on youth empowerment and community development.
Tibu Africa’s participation in these prestigious events showcased the power of sport as a catalyst for positive change, inspiring a brighter future for youth in Morocco and beyond. Tapping in to this transformative potential, together with Bidaya Tibu Africa will continue to run an annual Sports Orange Corners cohort under the Orange Corners Morocco flag also in the years to come.
