Orange Corners Nigeria Cohort 13 visits Netherlands Consulate in Lagos

Yesterday, our 13th Orange Corners Nigeria cohort and our Orange Corners Nigeria student ambassadors paid a courtesy visit to the Netherlands Consulate in Lagos. Travelling from Ogun State, the delegation was received by Michel Deelen (Consul General), Peter Keulers (Deputy Consul General), Oluwaseun Ojambati (Senior Agricultural Policy Advisor), Opeyemi M. Oriniowo (Policy Adviser on Economic Affairs and Public Diplomacy) and Sonia Onovughakpo Fajusigbe (Economic Policy Advisor and Business Developer for Entrepreneurship).

During the interactive session, the Consulate team shared insights on embassy-supported startup initiatives and opportunities for collaboration. Discussions centred on focus areas as circular economy, agriculture, renewable energy, health and water solutions, and how Nigerian entrepreneurs can leverage Dutch partnerships to scale innovation. The visit also spotlighted emerging partnership and networking opportunities within the agricultural, creative and healthtech sectors, reinforcing the shared commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and sustainable development between Nigeria and the Netherlands.
