How do you bridge the gap between promising health innovations and real-world adoption? That was the central question at last month’s Health Tech Roundtable, where we brought together tech entrepreneurs from the Orange Corners network and experts from the Dutch health ecosystem to exchange experiences, challenge assumptions and explore how Dutch expertise can support the growth of health startups in emerging markets.
Rather than focusing on pitches, the conversation focused on learning. Participants openly discussed the barriers that health innovators face when bringing solutions to market and explored practical ways to build stronger connections between Orange Corners entrepreneurs and the Dutch health ecosystem.
We were joined by two Orange Corners alumni:
- Hussein Fadhel (Health 360, Orange Corners Baghdad), whose integrated healthcare management platform aims to improve healthcare delivery.
- Ayokunle Omoniyi (Melon Data, Orange Corners Nigeria), who is using health data intelligence to support better decision-making in healthcare.
A big thank you to our Dutch health ecosystem experts for sharing your expertise, asking thoughtful questions, and providing valuable insights:
- Stefan Braam (UtrechtInc)
- Daisy Tjin A Lien (The Hague & Partners)
- Yvette Fleming, MSc. (TNO)
- Albertien Greijdanus (Invest-NL)
- Frans Hermes (Spectator Healthcare Technology)
Excited to see where these conversations lead!
