Orange Corners Bangladesh onboards new Campus Coordinators, bids farewell to alumni Campus Coordinators

On 29 April 2025, Orange Corners Bangladesh brought together outgoing and incoming campus coordinators at the Orange Corners Mohakhali Hub for the cohort 2 Campus Coordinator farewell & induction event for the Cohort 3 Coordinators. The gathering opened with heartfelt congratulations from Tahsinah Ahmed, Executive Director of the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC), who praised the graduating coordinators for their achievements and warmly welcomed the new cohort.

Rafiqul Alam Khan, Manager at BYLC Ventures, provided an in-depth overview of the programme, outlining its objectives, support structures and expectations for campus coordinators as they engage with students in their campus. Each outgoing coordinator then shared personal reflections on their year of service, highlighting key experiences, lessons learned and moments of growth that underscored the value of peer mentorship within the Orange Corners community. Orange Corners consortium partners from YY Ventures and the Sajida Foundation were also in attendance, underscoring the collaborative spirit that drives Orange Corners’ impact across Bangladesh and beyond.

An engaging icebreaker activity energised participants and encouraged meaningful connections beyond formal introductions, which seamlessly transitioned into a hands-on team-building exercise. These interactive elements reinforced collaboration and creative problem-solving, setting the tone for a supportive network among coordinators. Alumni guests later returned to share their real-world journeys, offering inspiration through stories of resilience, innovation and the lasting impact Orange Corners has had on their ventures.

In closing, the event host summarised the day’s achievements, expressed appreciation for everyone’s dedication and highlighted the pivotal role coordinators play in nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems in their respective campuses. Certificates of appreciation were then presented to honour each coordinator’s contributions, followed by a group photo to commemorate the occasion. The afternoon concluded with an informal networking session over refreshments, where new relationships were forged and ideas for future collaboration took root.
