Student challenges

In order to create more awareness for entrepreneurship among young people we organise student challenges at universities and other educational institutes. A prime example is the #CoCreateMyCity concept, a student competition where students create entrepreneurial solutions to local challenges identified by the local government and NL embassy. Students receive support from experts and mentors, culminating in a final pitch competition where they present their solutions to an expert jury.

These student challenges aim not only to introduce students to entrepreneurship as an exciting career option but also to promote active citizenship and youth participation. Student challenges like #CoCreateMyCity enhance collaboration between the government, educational institutions and the private sector, while also contributing to the growth of the Orange Corners network. And ultimately, we hope this positive first experience with entrepreneurship will inspire students to apply for the Orange Corners incubation programme, turning their solution into a profitable business.
