Last Friday, Orange Corners Morocco celebrated the graduation of 15 startups from the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region. At Beni Mellal-Khenifra’s Regional Investment Center (CRI) headquarters, all 15 entrepreneurs presented their ventures to a distinguished jury. A diverse range of projects, spanning sectors from sustainable agriculture and renewable energy to digital solutions and circular economy innovations, competed for a prized OCIF investment. Morocco World News, Morocco’s leading English online news channel, was there to cover the day.
Younes Iyousfi, co-founder of Inna Ecolodge cooperative and one of the OCIF winners, spoke to Morocco World News about the programme’s impact. “Inna Ecolodge is a unique place located in the High Atlas in Ait Bougmaz, with a tourism capacity of 24 people,” he said, explaining that the “goal of this establishment is both the economic revitalisation of Ahebak village.” The startup also aims to have “an impact on education and support young people in the village through workshops and activities throughout the year.”
