At Orange Corners, we’re always proud to witness our entrepreneurs achieving one milestone after another, a testament to their high ambitions and a reflection of the innovation embedded in their ventures. Today, we’re like to introduce you to Abdelrahim Hassan Mohamed Abdelrahim, a participant in the seventh cohort of Orange Corners Sudan and founder of Al Muhandis for Agricultural Solutions.
Abdelrahim grew up witnessing the challenges faced by smallholder farmers in North Kordofan. Motivated to make a change, he established Al Muhandis for Agricultural Solutions to empower farmers with access to modern equipment through an innovative leasing system that includes training and technical support. His idea evolved into a fully operational business serving both land and community after joining Orange Corners Sudan.
Testament to his hard work, Abdelrahim has also been selected to represent Sudan at the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany, one of the world’s leading forums, bringing together over 2,000 young leaders from 190 countries to discuss development, justice, climate and peace. This is a result of his selection for the Enterprising Futures Scholarship, awarded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Orange Corners to young entrepreneurs with impactful community-driven businesses. This recognition reflects Abdelrahim’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and his dedication to amplifying the voices of marginalised communities in Sudan, especially in Kordofan.
