We recently celebrated the graduation of our Orange Corners Designs Cape Town cohort 2 with The Craft and Design Institute. Hosted at the new CDI offices, this celebration was a wonderful way to mark this milestone for a group of creative entrepreneurs who have truly shown what’s possible when talent meets determination.
Over 12 months, these founders committed themselves to a programme designed to strengthen their ventures, refine their strategies, and develop the entrepreneurial skills needed to grow sustainable, impact-driven businesses – and the growth we witnessed was remarkable.
The ceremony was made even more special by a keynote address from Ronald Makomba, Head of Outbound at Yoco, whose insights on building and scaling a business resonated deeply with the room.
More than a graduation, the day felt like a room full of beginnings. Entrepreneurs celebrated not only how far their businesses have come, but also the relationships and collaborations built along the way.
