We recently celebrated the graduation of our second Johannesburg cohort of the Orange Corners Designs programme with The Craft and Design Institute.
Hosted at the University of Johannesburg Technology Transfer Office in Auckland Park, it was a wonderful way to mark the exciting milestone for this group of talented creative entrepreneurs.
Determined to take their businesses to the next level, these founders committed themselves to our 12-month programme designed to strengthen their ventures, refine their strategies and develop the entrepreneurial skills needed to grow sustainable, impact-driven businesses.
The day was filled with inspiration, proud moments and a shared sense of achievement. A highlight of the celebration was the keynote address by Miles Kubheka, founder and CEO of the Wakanda Food Accelerator, whose candid reflections on the realities of entrepreneurship resonated deeply with the audience, highlighting the importance of resilience, innovation and the role entrepreneurs play in addressing unemployment.
More than a graduation, the day felt like a room full of beginnings – with founders celebrating not only how far their businesses have come, but also the relationships and collaborations built along the way.
Congratulations to you all!
