Last week, our HQ colleagues Richard (Programme advisor Angola) and Paulien (OCIF advisor) visited our hub in Angola. The occasion? Not just another demo day, but also the first public event with our new implementing partner for Orange Corners Angola, Acelera. A few snaps to relive the day!
Of course, NL Ambassador to Agola Tsjeard Hoekstra and other embassy staff were also present to witness the pitches, alongside representatives of our partners KixiCredito and INAPEM. After some deliberations, our jury picked Biomeq as this cohort’s most promising startup. They received an OCIF investment of 1 million Angolese kwanza. Many congratulations!
