Sylabs, our new implementing partner for Orange Corners Algeria, officially launched its operations in the presence of the Algerian Minister of Startups, Micro-businesses and Knowledge Economy Yacine Oualid and NL Ambassador to Algeria Janna van der Velde. Also present were Orange Corners Algeria partners as well as a number of external guests.
Ambassador Van der Velde discussed Orange Corners globally, while Sylabs highlighted the targets and action plans for the year. From the Algerian government’s side, Minister Oualid gave feedback on the proposed activities, stressing the need for technical support for the entrepreneurs. The programme’s partners also focused on technical support, emphasising their willingness to help the entrepreneurs beyond the financial aspect. The event ended with a lively networking session for the partners and guests.
