The Iraqi entrepreneurial scene is constantly evolving. From hackathons and bootcamps to training, volunteering and more, youth and entrepreneurial support organisations (ESOs) have truly fostered the entrepreneurial mindset of the Iraqi youth. This in turn has encouraged more and more entrepreneurs to develop their businesses, also through incubation programmes such as Orange Corners. Orange Corners Baghdad implementing partner KAPITA Business Hub shared some insightful observations, based on many years of supporting young entrepreneurs in Iraq.

“Orange Corners provided a nurturing environment that enabled young entrepreneurs to refine their business ideas, develop robust business plans, and gain insights into the competitive market landscape. The programme also extends to networking opportunities, professional consultations, and potential funding, all with the goal of establishing successful ventures. Six cohorts have successfully graduated, each comprising 20 startups, resulting in a total of 120 businesses completing the intensive six-month incubation programme.”
