First Orange Corners MENA masterclass on fundraising

Cross-border collaboration is a recurring topic of conversation between our different Orange Corners hubs. Back in July, Orange Corners Erbil, Upper Egypt, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories found each other in a shared enthusiasm for organising regional masterclasses, and it was only a matter of weeks before the first MENA masterclass was held.

Moderated by Upper Egypt’s Dalia El Nazer, this first-ever Orange Corners regional masterclass for entrepreneurs from the Middle East and North Africa covered effective fundraising strategies for startups. Laith Kasis (co-founder of EnterVentures) and Tamer Al-Salah (Managing Director of BeyondCapital) shared their tips and tricks with a crowd of young entrepreneurs gathered virtually.

As a testament of this success, a follow-up masterclass is just around the corner. Tomorrow, Orange Corners Jordan and Upper Egypt will dive into the topic of branding for startups with Amani Qaddoumi (Founder & CEO ALB).
