Entrepreneurship and innovation are key drivers of sustainable economic growth as well as creation of decent job opportunities.
Orange Corners Maputo (OCM) is an initiative of the Kingdom of The Netherlands that provides young entrepreneurs with training, networks and facilities to start and grow innovative businesses. Orange Corners assists Mozambican young talent in becoming tomorrow’s entrepreneurial leaders, through an incubation programme which offers recurring 6-month training cycles and investment for 25-35 entrepreneurs at a time.
Standard Bank and the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in Mozambique started conversations quite some time ago on ways to accelerate positive impact on the local economy. This resulted in a partnership between Orange Corners Maputo and Standard bank.
